Giving Back and Volunteering

Laura has been active in community service from a young age.  She was selected to attend the Red Cross Leadership Development program in High School and continues to discover opportunities to give back.

Laura served as Loaned Executive for United Way of Central Maryland, visited urban schools and taught a Farm to Table program with the Baltimore Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food.  Additional efforts were offered to the March of Dimes, Meals on Wheels and The Poverty Coalition.

In addition to serving on the Vestry of her church, she was the fellowship chair and often cooked weekly dinners for 60+ in addition to the many celebrations she managed.

She supports the Arts - Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Maryland Public Television, and the Maryland Institute College of Arts.

While in Indianapolis, Laura helped with events at a community health center by working with patients/visitors but also providing refreshments for the staff.
